The Desert Farms Story
Our Foundation
Desert Farms Limited was founded by Barrister Aliyu Ibrahim after a distinguished career culminating in 11 years as Chief Registrar of the Court of Appeal Nigeria (2009-2020).
During his tenure, Barrister Ibrahim led one of Nigeria's most important judicial institutions, overseeing modernization initiatives, case management reforms, and the professional development of hundreds of judicial officers. His leadership helped strengthen the integrity and efficiency of Nigeria's appellate court system.
Beyond his public service, Barrister Ibrahim has maintained a lifelong passion for agriculture and sustainable development. Even during his years in civil service, he actively pursued agricultural ventures, gaining hands-on experience in farming operations and rural development.
In 2020, he resigned from the Court of Appeal to establish Modibbs & Co Solicitors and to fully pursue his entrepreneurial vision through Desert Farms Limited, combining his commitment to excellence, public service values, and passion for creating sustainable value.
